San Miguel de Allende is a destination that offers a unique blend of cultural significance, inspiration, and indulgence, as demonstrated by a recent trip that was carefully planned to showcase the rich history and traditions of the region.

The trip began at the Four Seasons Hotel in Mexico City, where attendees were welcomed with place cards inspired by the iconic courtyard fountain. This attention to detail set the tone for the rest of the journey, as attendees made their way to the beautiful Belmond hotel, Casa Sierra Nevada, in the city of San Miguel. Handmade terracotta tiles embossed with an Otomi pattern and featuring an engraved wooden inlay accented the table on the second night. Place cards with dimensional embroidery stitched onto woven fabric sourced from the area with a handwoven basketweave on the back were a highlight of the third night's dinner decor.

The thoughtful touches continued on the final night of the trip, when attendees received a special gift in the form of a beautiful pajaro pattern serape blanket with their name foil stamped into a hand cut and stitched leather patch. In addition to these intentional design touches, the trip also included access to a microsite containing all the details about the journey, including itinerary information and attire recommendations, which could be accessed by scanning a QR code on the engraved teak wood card enclosed in the welcome guide.

Throughout the trip, attendees were able to experience the beauty and traditions of San Miguel de Allende, from the unique details of their journey to the special gifts and experiences that were planned for them. It was a truly unforgettable celebration of culture and inspiration.
